I purchased a VW bug site unseen for $35.  From that point on I decided it was time to build a Buggy.  It was built from scratch over the winter of 1992 and 1993.  It is registered as a 1993 Homemade Convertible.  The Body is a Johnny's Speed & Chrome long body (I didn't shorten the pan).  The engine is basically a stock 1650 dual port.  It is my everyday driver throughout the summer months.
